James Colligan’s name is synonymous with Te Atatū AFC. For more than 25 years, he has been a driving force behind the club’s success—serving as a player, coach, manager, sponsor, committee member, and tireless volunteer. His unwavering loyalty, integrity, and passion have shaped the culture of our club and inspired generations. At our recent AGM, we proudly recognised James’ extraordinary contribution with a Life Membership.

“Over the years, James has worn almost every hat imaginable: player, coach, manager, sponsor, committee member, and tireless volunteer. Whatever the club has needed, James has stepped up—with passion, integrity, and a deep love for Te Atatū AFC. He truly bleeds orange and black, and his loyalty has never wavered.

James has always put Te Atatū’s best interests first, often sacrificing his own time and energy for the good of the club. He’s been a constant presence through highs and lows, offering support, leadership, and a steady hand when it mattered most.

As an outstanding ambassador, James is respected by players, members, and the wider football community. He conducts himself with fairness, humility, and genuine sportsmanship—embodying the values that make Te Atatū AFC special.

His decades of dedication, service, and passion have left alasting mark on our club's history and culture. It’s hard to imagine Te Atatū AFC without him, and we believe it’s only fitting that his immense contribution be recognised with Life Membership.”
